Welcome
Millions
of people live with, work with, or are related to someone with a serious
drug or alcohol problem. We know that living with such a person can be a
frustrating, harrowing, and even humiliating experience, and unfortunately
most people in these situations do not know what to do, to whom to turn,
or where to go. What can you do when you feel you can’t stand by and
watch anymore, but every attempt to help has failed or has been rejected?
We built an organization whose sole purpose is helping those with such needs
and questions. We specialize in drug and alcohol interventions and work
on behalf of those families, partners, and friends who have someone in their
life that is battling drugs or alcohol. Through many years of experience
with chemical dependency and addictions counseling, we have developed a
working plan to guide both families and loved ones through the trials of
substance abuse and into the recovery process. Our goals are to help all
involved learn to live in harmony and to help friends and family members
learn what they can do to help.
We specialize in one
crucial but precarious step in the pathway to recovery: the first. Our interventional
model is based on a well established and working program of change and recovery.
An intervention has two important aspects that strongly facilitate the process:
the unified voice of family and friends and the presence of an external
mediator. We focus on these two factors because experience and research
has shown their utmost importance in a successful intervention. With those
pieces in place, the intervention becomes an emotionally focused session
where those around the individual tell about their concern, pain, and love.
The overall goal is to help the individual to see their life in a new light
and to see the need for help and change.
The transgressions of a single person have far reaching and significant
effects; when someone has a problem with substance abuse, family, friends,
and coworkers simultaneously feel the pain of addiction. If you know someone
who is battling drugs or alcohol, we encourage you to take action. Call
now, because you can help.
